One of the most common new year resolutions is to get back on track with your health and fitness. But instead of roughing it at the gym, why not try something fun (with bonus sparkly costumes! Pole dance and lyra are both excellent ways to build strength without the monotony of lifting weights. It's a full body workout guaranteed to make you sweat! Plus, how many gyms have pretty pink flamingo wallpaper and serve tea and treats?

If you're already a student, your goal might be to develop a specific area of your skills. Our Bombshell Bootcamp class is perfect for working on your overall fitness, conditioning and flexibility, plus you'll love Miss Mouse's fun playlists! If flexibility is your focus, why not try our Sexy Flexy class? Have you decided that 2018 is the year that you take to the stage and strut your stuff? There are plenty of ways to make that happen this year! If you've never performed before, Nightcap is a great way to start. At the end of week eight of every term, we put on a beautiful showcase where each class gets to perform their routine for their family, friends and other students. It's a wonderful night with a fun and supportive atmosphere, great for the first-time performer!

If you're ready to take the leap to solo performance, then Heartstoppers may be for you. Heartstoppers is a pole, lyra, burlesque and circus show for new soloists and performers with new routines to display. Put together your routine and your costume, and keep an eye out for the announcement for the next Heartstoppers performer call out!

It's easy to get caught up in routines, but trying something out of your comfort zone is a great way to shake things up and refresh yourself.

If you've never given lyra a try, why not make this year the year to start? Our Babydoll classes start with low hoops to ease you in, and the course is designed to build up your strength while still learning some pretty spins and shapes. Maybe you're a lyra goddess who would like to give pole dancing a try! We just launched our Fast Track Pole workshop at the start of this term, to help experienced lyra babes progress into pole dancing. Keep an eye out for the next one in week seven!

Want to explore your sensual side? Give your muscles a rest and join a burlesque class to learn the art of the tease. With a variety of classes to choose, from fast-paced Charleston to sensual fire-play, there is sure to be something to inspire you!

Make-new-friends.jpg

We're all so busy these days, and with so much to manage it can be hard to meet new people. Luckily Sky Sirens is full of beautiful, friendly babes with a lot of similar interests! You're going to spend the next eight weeks with your classmates, so why not take the time to introduce yourself? They are probably just as nervous as you!

In addition to classes, there are a bunch of ways you can meet new people at Sky Sirens. You could try coming along to one of our shows, like Heartstoppers or Nightcap, where you will get to see amazing performers and chat with fellow audience members. We also often host workshops, like our Sparkle Soiree, where you can sip bubbles and chat while bejewelling your costume!

Even sharing a cup of tea and a treat with a fellow siren in the Parlour before class can start you on the way to a new friend in your life.
